id media we're asked to create a fun and interactive educational tool to educate 6 to 12 year old children about the egg and poultry business and enable them to learn about breeds of chickens and types of farming through to the grading and packing of eggs. The CD also features games and graphics that can be painted in colour using on-screen tools.
The CD was also developed and produced as a website using ‘Flash' with a suite of learning centres and games. The games created an incentive to view the site and as they were database driven, a child could keep their high score (until beaten of course). The viewer had to navigate at least one of the learning cycles before being given access to play a game.
